Astronic RTD Simulator (AS-RTD-CAL) is high precision simulator for simulation of Pt100 thermo-meters. it is useful for all RTD instruments check and Calibrations. It covers the general operating Range of Pt100 with 12 calibration points. Basically RTD (resistance temperature detector) is a temperature sensor that operates on the measurement principle that a material’s electrical resistance changes with temperature, AS-RTD-CAL works on the similar prin-ciple. The AS-RTD-CAL Simulator is small in size, rugged and easy to use. it has been especially desig-ned for field use. The Astronic RTD Simulator is used wherever measuring and controlling Instruments have to be calibrated and tested with better accur-acy. Totally different temperature ranges are avail-able with AS-RTD-CAL, which is  required in the case of special applications, such as in the food industry, medical science, steel industry, sugar industries, cement industries Testing Labs etc. There is no need to use any reference Temperature table. The resista-nce values required for simulation are directly set in degree celsius.
